Consider the next two piece's Right - This piece modelled by Hampel mould number 1119 which dates 1904
- 1918. The original mould of this piece dates between 1904 - 1905.
Right - This piece made out of the same mould as above but is mould number 9254. This piece has a different
mould number because it is not made of porcelain but by a cheaper material(pottery). A document survived from the factory
which states that mould number 10000 is dated 16/03/1906. So that dates the piece before 1906 which coincides with the date
for the above piece, these piece's made out of the cheaper material rarely have the royal dux triangle. The earliest piece
I have made out of the cheaper material as the mould number 8723. If anybody as came across any piece's with a mould number
less I would like to hear from you.

Left - Both of these piece's date 1905 and 1918 however the first piece dates earlier, to distinguish
between the two we can look at the raised lozenge if it has a indentation line around the edge it suggests the piece
is earlier if it does not have the line it suggests the piece was produced later. The first piece also has
Hampel signature and the second piece does not. Do not take it for granted that when a piece is signed that it dates
earlier or is from the original mould. I have seen reproduced piece's which have a signature. Also we can tell by the
glazes used.
